Air Conditioning Arrives at Le Lavardin
For several years now — and even more so since the crisis in Ukraine and its impact on energy prices and our dependence on gas — we had been looking into replacing our old gas-fired hot-air heating system.
This year, we finally took the plunge and had two air-to-air heat pumps installed in June, integrated into the existing ducted air system throughout the house.
Since the system works in reverse, we also now have air conditioning, zone by zone — which our guests have already been able to enjoy during the summer of 2026 and its repeated heatwaves.
One more comfort feature, if you needed any more convincing to come and stay with us! And the cherry on top: air quality is monitored in real time.
